HOM, Inc. is looking for a People Operations Supervisor to support and enhance our HR efforts while building a stronger, more effective HR function for the future. This is a hands-on role focused on improving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and driving employee engagement, with the opportunity to shape and develop the HR function over time.

About the Role With support from and reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the People Operations Supervisor will provide essential HR support in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and HR process improvements. While this role does not initially include direct reports, it will play a key part in shaping HOM, Inc.'s HR strategy and infrastructure as the company continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing and refining recruitment and hiring processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to define job requirements, create s, and execute recruitment plans.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, universities, and industry groups to expand recruitment pipelines.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resources to managers and employees.
  • Promoting a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring HR policies and procedures remain up to date and compliant with employment laws and company standards.
  • Supporting payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identifying and implementing HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on HR analytics and trends.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of HR experience, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity experience a plus).
  • Experience managing or supporting talent assessments such as Predictive Index, DISC, or other behavioral/cognitive assessment tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred—or equivalent experience.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred - or equivalent experience.
