About the Role
The IT Systems Alignment (Technical Alignment Manager) is the trusted technical advisor for our clients. You’ll dig deep into their operations, learn how they use technology, and make sure their IT environment is aligned with best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
By maintaining a close technical relationship, you’ll be able to:
- Spot risks and technical gaps before they become problems
- Recommend enhancements that improve cybersecurity, performance, and user experience
- Drive proactive service and planning that reduces reactive support costs
- Provide big-company IT solutions to help small businesses succeed
This is a hands-on, proactive role where you’ll work directly with clients, vendors, and teammates to create long-term technical success.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
- Commitment to continuous learning and earning certifications
Experience & Skills
- 7+ years in a technology support environment, with project design and delivery experience
- Prior Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, systems, and networks (hardware/software)
- Preferred experience with:
- ConnectWise, LabTech
- Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Copilot
- Azure and AWS
- Windows Desktop/Server, Mac OS
- Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Office 365
- Active Directory, Group Policies
- DNS, VPN, WAN/LAN connectivity
- Switches, routers, firewalls, and security solutions
- Enterprise backup and business continuity solutions
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field preferred
- Professional certifications a plus:
- Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE)
- CompTIA (A+, Network+)
- Cisco CCNA
- VMware VCP
- Citrix CCEA/CCIA
- SonicWALL CSSA
Work Environment & Travel
- This is a travel role — TAMs spend most of their time at client sites
- Occasional irregular hours or on-call rotation may be required
- Must be able to lift and set up equipment as needed
- Clean driving record and reliable vehicle required
