Location: Westborough, MA || Locals Preferred
Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Developer to lead our Salesforce development efforts and drive enterprise-level solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to design scalable architectures, oversee integrations, and mentor development teams while ensuring alignment with business and technology standards.

• Lead and mentor Salesforce developers, consultants, and technical teams.

• Design and define Salesforce architecture including data models, security, and integration frameworks.

• Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, from development and testing to deployment.

• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce customizations and solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

• Own and manage release management and deployment processes in Salesforce environments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align Salesforce solutions with enterprise architecture and business needs.

• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies , promoting iterative development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities, bringing innovation and industry best practices to the team.

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Lead Developer, or similar role .

• Strong expertise in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL).

• Hands-on experience with integration frameworks, APIs, and middleware .

• Expertise in designing scalable and secure Salesforce solutions.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies , and release management.

• Experience with code reviews, CI/CD pipelines , and DevOps practices in Salesforce.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect preferred.

• Ability to balance strategic architectural vision with hands-on technical leadership.

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability, performance, and user adoption.

• Passion for continuous learning and leveraging new Salesforce capabilities.
