Smith Performance Center (SPC) is a team-driven health and wellness practice in Tucson, Arizona, dedicated to redefining physical therapy, strength training, nutrition and dietitian services, and long-term health management.
Our Phase-Based Rehabilitation System ensures a structured, data-driven approach to recovery and performance. Each patient progresses through clear, measurable milestones, moving from diagnosis and stabilization to strength development and long-term performance. We want to maximize our clients physical, tissue, and energy capacity. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the unique opportunity to co-manage cases with our strength coaches and in-house dietitian, ensuring a holistic approach that maximizes long-term health and performance results.
At SPC, you won’t just follow a standard treatment script. You’ll collaborate, analyze, and innovate to solve complex patient cases using our evidence-based, phase-driven model with weekly case reviews, clinical discussions, and direct mentorship to refine your skills and achieve the best outcomes.

About You
You are the right fit for this role if you:
- Thrive on solving complex cases that haven’t improved in traditional rehab settings.

Position Details
Location: Tucson, AZ
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Patient Load: 28-30 patients per week (1-hour sessions)
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, examinations, and treatments using SPC’s Phase-Based Rehab System to drive patient progress.
- Collaborate with our team of PTs, strength coaches, and administrative staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Complete administration work required for your patient caseload.
- Work with the administrative team to maximize your available schedule.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication with patients during and after care.
- Participate in weekly clinical education and team meetings to refine skills and stay at the forefront of PT practice.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
Required:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensed to practice in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of experience (not required to be in outpatient care)
- Strong interpersonal skills—you connect well with patients and colleagues
- Growth mindset—you actively seek improvement and professional development
