About us: American Dental Companies is a rapidly growing, doctor-owned dental group based in Phoenix, AZ. We specialize in supporting private dental practices across the country by providing essential business management, enabling them to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive balance sheets and profit and loss (P&L) reports to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across our 60+ dental offices, providing insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Lead the company's tax compliance efforts, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• CPA/CMA certification.
• Experience as a controller, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax management.
• Experience preparing month-end close packages and performing reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data manipulation and reporting.

Preferred:

• 2 years of experience using Sage Intacct.
• Experience working in a PE backed environment.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting or financial management experience, ideally in multiple sites.
