The Construction Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting construction projects from planning through completion. This position involves coordinating various project activities, liaising between contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, and ensuring projects adhere to schedules and budgets. The coordinator facilitates smooth communication and documentation to maintain project efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities
- Coordinate communication between project teams, contractors, and clients
- Track project progress and report on status, risks, and issues
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports
- Support procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Facilitate meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination
- Must be good with Excel
