Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Flexible to days, evenings, nights, and weekends Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN license from any state is acceptable Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one (1) year of hire - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one (1) year of hire - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one (1) year of hire - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six (6) months of hire - Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within three (3) months of hire - Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire Must-Have: Professional knowledge and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures. This requires professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. The nurse must work independently to complete assignments. Guidelines include physician's orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures manuals. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families. Staff includes medical providers with various specialties. The community offers a culturally rich environment.
