Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to architect and build high-performance, scalable mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role combines advanced mobile application development, front-end engineering, API integration, and technical leadership within a collaborative Agile environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams including Product, UX/UI Design, DevOps, and Backend Engineering to deliver secure, accessible, and customer-centric enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development & Architecture

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Apply advanced knowledge of React Native architecture, component lifecycle management, hooks, state management, and design patterns

• Build offline-capable mobile applications with local storage, caching strategies, and data synchronization

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility (WCAG standards), and security best practices

• Implement modular, maintainable code structures within monorepo environments

Front-End & API Engineering

Develop user interfaces using React, CSS, and modern JavaScript bundlers

Collaborate with UX teams to translate Figma and Adobe XD designs into responsive, user-centric interfaces

Design and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and related frameworks

Ensure secure data transmission through authentication, authorization, and vulnerability mitigation strategies

DevOps, CI/CD & Cloud-Native Practices

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, TravisCI, or Jenkins

• Deploy and manage applications within containerized environments using Kubernetes and Helm

• Utilize version control systems including Git and SVN for source code management and collaborative workflows

• Support automated build processes, release management, and environment configuration

Code Quality, Testing & Performance Optimization

Structure applications for testability , implementing unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing strategies

Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, maintainability, and technical documentation

Conduct performance profiling and resolve bottlenecks through debugging and root cause analysis

Drive adoption of architectural standards and reusable component libraries

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and architectural decision-making within Agile Scrum teams

• Mentor and coach developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

• Support and guide outsourced development partners to ensure adherence to coding standards

• Rapidly prototype proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new features and technologies

• Stay current with emerging trends in mobile development, JavaScript ecosystems, and cloud-native technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile and web application development

• Recent hands-on experience with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, API development, and modern front-end frameworks

• Experience working in enterprise environments with established CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead developer role with mentoring and architectural oversight responsibilities

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns

• Experience with Expo framework preferred

• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related technical field

Work Environment

• Standard office or remote-first environment utilizing collaborative development tools

Occasional travel may be required, including air travel and client site visits
