CNC Machinist Level 3

What is different about this one? You’ll produce high-reliability components for the aerospace and defense sectors, where your work directly impacts flight safety and global infrastructure.

This is a 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Level 3 role for an expert machinist capable of independent setups and mentoring. If you have a background in automotive engine building or high-precision tool and die, your troubleshooting skills will transfer perfectly here.

Key Duties

• Independent setup and operation of CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.

• Live editing of G/M codes and program optimization for production efficiency.

• Advanced troubleshooting of complex machining issues and implementing fixes.

• Mentoring junior machinists to ensure quality standards and output targets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of CNC experience with proficiency in independent setups.

• Advanced blueprint reading skills and high-level GD&T literacy.

• ITAR compliance

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
