Concrete Foreman

WE NEED A CONCRETE FOREMAN !

Pay Range is $40/hr - $44/hr

Coloscapes Concrete is a local commercial concrete company that serves Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming areas. We are looking to hire a skilled Concrete Foremen.

About Your Role:
The Concrete Foreman will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring field crews while providing hands-on oversight and support for laborers, form setters, finishers, and equipment operators. This role will ensure strict adherence to OSHA and company safety standards by performing daily safety checks, resolving hazards, and overseeing the completion of Job Hazard Analysis forms. This position will also coordinate material calculations, equipment needs, and scheduling with superintendents to achieve project goals efficiently and safely. Additional responsibilities include managing documentation, verifying receipts, minimizing overtime, and completing comprehensive daily reports to support project success.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:
3+ years of experience in a similar position or industry or demonstrated exceptional job performance and leadership skills.
Certifications – To obtain during employment:

• ACI Finisher
• OSHA 10 Hour
• Forklift Operator
• Skid Steer Operator

Specialized Skills:
Learn the position’s responsibilities within 30 days.
Accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
Continue your own education to improve job skills.
Be able to operate small equipment such as walk behind saw, compactor, drills, skid steer, curb machine, circular saw, power trowels, laser, etc.

Supervisory Expectations:
The position has immediate oversight of 4 or more team members performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads, which includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning work, assigning work, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Independence of Action:
Results are defined; the incumbent sets own goals and determines how to accomplish results with few or no guidelines to follow. Although precedents may exist, the supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

REQUIREMENTS:
Min 5 years experience as Foreman
Pre-employment drug screen
Legally eligible to work in the US
