Senior Transportation Project Manager (Public Works) - Remote | WFH

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across various sectors, including public and private infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Planning
Oversee multiple project teams to achieve goals and objectives efficiently.
Provide strategic direction to project managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Continuously monitor project progress, addressing challenges proactively.
Manage contracts, including handling change orders and additional services.

Team Management & Mentorship
Train, mentor, and guide project managers and junior staff.
Build a high-performing team by fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Ensure team members have clear expectations, responsibilities, and deadlines.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Client & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and project specifications are met.
Represent clients in public meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Provide status updates on project milestones, risks, and deliverables to leadership teams.

Financial Oversight & Quality Assurance
Manage project financials, including budgets, billing, and accounts receivable.
Ensure projects meet high-quality standards and comply with QA/QC protocols.
Address and resolve any disputes, negotiations, or project challenges.

Process Improvement & Business Development
Evaluate and improve company practices to enhance project management efficiency.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and business development opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering field.

Professional Engineer (PE) License.
15+ years of experience managing public works projects on schedule and within budget.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Pipe Networks.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Experience in contract management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Occasionally visit project sites.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and other standard office equipment.
