Arthroplasty Product Manager
ImpactOrtho, Inc. proudly represents Arthrex products and surgical techniques in Arizona. We are seeking a humble, driven, and trustworthy Arthroplasty Product Sales Manager to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for your overall territory that ensures attainment of company sales, quotas, and profitability for Arthrex products
- Responsible for the developments and performance of teams and individual associates within the team with regards to products and techniques
- Understanding of instrument/equipment costs and allocated needs within territories
- Utilization of analytics and trends to justify purchasing of new equipment, or adjustment of allocating existing sets or par levels
- Responsible for being the main technical expert for all items within the product area
- Responsible for carrying out the objectives defined by VP of Sales or Director of Sales
- Ensure all representatives meet activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes
- Initiate and coordinate development of annual and quarterly targeting and action plans to grow business by pursuing sales of existing and new products
- Set examples for agency representatives in areas of knowledge base, personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Maintain confidentiality of ImpactOrtho and patient/account information as well as following company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular coaching and counseling with agency representatives to build motivation and selling skills and provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
- Build strong relationships and work closely with Arthrex management to ensure attainment of required company sales goals, quotes, and proper protocols.
- Requires coordination with ImpactOrtho Finance, Operations, and Sales teams
- Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and operating room staff
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business or marketing
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical device sales and/or product management and/or upstream marketing and/or downstream marketing is required.
- Experience in the medical products industry highly preferred
- Orthopedic experience is preferred
- Understanding of all functions involved in developing, selling, and marketing of product is preferred.
- Excellent Public speaking and presentation skills are required.
- Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results.
- Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills are required.
