This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our providers/facilities over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
We offer 4-6 of training. Corporate onboarding week 1 may be MST time zone. Rest of training aligned to your schedule.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from providers
+ Taking incoming calls and emails from facilities to schedule peer to peers between facilities and our medical directors
+ Handle resolution/inquiries from providers
+ Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
+ Must be 18+ years of age OR older
+ 2+ years of customer service experience
+ Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
+ Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends based on business need
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
+ Experience working in a hospital, physician's office OR medical clinic setting
+ A clerical OR administrative support background
+ Experience working in a call center
**Telecommuting Requirements:**
+ Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
+ Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
+ Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
