Fitting Specialist

PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking Fitting Specialists that deliver a world-class consumer experience through exceptional customer service, expert club fitting, and advanced product knowledge across in-person, virtual, and event environments. They represent PING at fittings, demo days, and seminars while educating customers on PING’s products, heritage, and custom fitting process. This role requires continuous development through feedback and observation, adaptable communication skills, conducting factory tours, and regular nationwide travel to support business needs. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:

• Provide high level Customer Service to accounts, consumers and Sales Reps via phone calls, emails, and in person at local PING fitting locations.
• While in the office, perform additional administrative tasks that include reporting, sales tracking and supporting repair lobby.
• Represent the company at trade or consumer demo/fitting days and seminars throughout the country, providing product information, insight, fitting and technical support on all PING products.
• Be responsible for maintaining equipment inventories while assigned to the Mobile Fitting Vans and/or Kierland.
• Work directly with and support local field representatives.
• Utilize PING’s fitting process to custom fit consumers for PING irons, woods and putters while using the latest innovative technology.
• Educate our accounts on product knowledge, PING’s company history and our custom fitting process.
• Conduct PING virtual fittings, delivering a high-quality and personalized fitting experience through digital platforms.
• Adapt communication and presentation techniques to meet the needs, skill levels, and buying behaviors of diverse consumer audiences.
• Collaborate with team members to share feedback, insights, and best practices in order to improve overall team performance and consistency in the fitting experience.
• Conduct factory tours for all campus guests assigned by management.
• Travel overnight nationwide on an average of 8-10 weeks per year. (Intervals of 1-2 weeks at a time)
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree from a properly accredited college or university, plus one-year related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Playing or work-related golf and/or fitting experience preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have clean driving record for past 3 years not to include: more than one accident, DUI/DWI citation, speed violation greater than 20 mph, hit and run or reckless driving citation.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to professionally present products to customers with professionalism, confidence, and complete product knowledge.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
• Excellent technical knowledge of PING, product line, golf and the golf industry.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (TEAMS, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
