Technical Director - Data Intelligence & Analytics

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Technical Director - Data Intelligence & Analytics. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

• Execute the enterprise strategy for software and data platforms in alignment with business goals
• Design scalable and secure systems using modern technologies like .NET, Python, Azure, and cloud-native patterns (e.g., microservices, API-first, real-time data processing)
• Champion Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering excellence to accelerate delivery and innovation
• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives including cloud migrations, legacy modernization, and automation
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures supporting high-volume pipelines, real-time insights, and advanced analytics
• Enable AI/ML, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to enhance decision-making and customer experiences
• Leverage tools like Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python to drive meaningful business outcomes
• Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams of software engineers and data engineers
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning that embraces experimentation and excellence
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and product leaders to deliver impactful solutions that improve operations and unlock new opportunities
• Oversee program delivery, vendor partnerships, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating complex technical ideas into clear business value and guiding digital priorities
• Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 required within 12 months of being hired
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives that deliver tangible business results
