We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary team at a leading acute care hospital in Tucson, Arizona . This opportunity is ideal for a local candidate or a travel therapist looking for a rewarding experience in a dynamic healthcare setting with diverse patient needs. You will play a key role in restoring mobility, function, and quality of life to patients in the acute care setting.

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury in an acute care hospital setting.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Document treatments and patient progress in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients and caregivers on continued care and safe mobility post-discharge.

• Participate in discharge planning and contribute to patient outcomes and hospital quality metrics.

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or Master’s preferred).

• Current Arizona PT license (or eligible).

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred (new grads with clinical acute care rotations encouraged to apply).

• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Travel candidates must meet relevant travel contract requirements.

• Schedule: Full-time; Day shifts (some weekend rotation may be required).

• Setting: Inpatient Acute Care – Medical/Surgical, ICU, Orthopedic, Neurology, and more.

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate or travel stipend package (if applicable), based on experience.

• Start Date: ASAP or negotiable.
