Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driving in Mesa AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents support access activities and provide outstanding customer service and a role shaped by teamwork integrity and a caring culture you will contribute to a reliable and innovative environment every day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following established protocols for a defense and aerospace environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor access and report concerns involving personnel property or sensitive areas.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors client representatives and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
