Pharmacy professionals with a solid retail background are sought to join a per diem pharmacist team supporting multiple community pharmacies in the Tucson area. This role is ideal for pharmacists interested in flexible, part-time work that offers the opportunity to cover a range of shifts across high-volume pharmacies.

Locations include several community retail pharmacies throughout Tucson, each operating primarily Monday through Saturday with typical hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and select sites open until 8:00 p.m. Candidates should be prepared to cover varying shifts to accommodate call-outs, vacation coverage, and periods of increased prescription volume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications and provide quality patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff, with some smaller sites operating as pharmacist-only.
• Participate in an initial 8-hour training session, with additional training opportunities available to ensure proficiency in specific pharmacy systems and protocols.
• Utilize the QS1 pharmacy management system.
• Administer immunizations as authorized and maintain active BLS certification.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Immunization privileges and current BLS certification.
• Ability to work 2-4 days per week on a flexible per diem basis.
• Comfortable working independently at pharmacist-only sites when required.
