Senior Graphic Designer

Overview Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to develop compelling qualifications, proposals, and interviews in support of business development and pursuit team efforts. This is a senior-level design position that requires design and/or coordination of a wide range of electronic and/or printed graphic materials. It also requires extensive knowledge of specialized, multi-faceted design concepts and media. The designer must be able to create sophisticated, original designs, and comprehensive layout concepts. Responsibilities Leads art direction on high-level design pursuits Oversees and coordinates production of materials Able to take design projects from conception to delivery with minimal supervision Liaises/collaborates with marketing and design teams Maintains brand consistency throughout all marketing projects Reviews work for accuracy and quality Stays up-to-date with industry developments and tools, and disseminate this information Interprets project needs and understand constraints Produces creative, high-impact designs Trains designers as necessary on software, tools, and visual communication Qualifications BA degree in design, visual arts, or relevant field 7-10 years of experience in graphic design Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Software Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and juggle multiple projects under deadline Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout, and typography Strong production and creative problem-solving skills, with attention to visual details Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated versatility and education/experience in the areas of print media, digital communications, and multimedia technologies Prior experience in the engineering field Pay Range An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
