Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 per year A bit about us: A well-known firm with over 40 years of bridge structural experience is looking to bring on a talented Bridge Project Manager to oversee their almost $50million dollar design project. They are a mid-size firm consisting of around 150-200, who are passionate about how we can make an impact in the world of engineering. 2. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals in designing safe, efficient, and sustainable bridges.
3. Managing the project budget, ensuring that all work is carried out within the agreed financial parameters.
4. Ensuring that all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
5. Leading and motivating a team of construction workers and professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages high performance.
6. Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
7. Regularly reporting on the project's progress to senior management, stakeholders, and clients, keeping them informed and involved.
8. Continually seeking ways to improve the project management process, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
2. At least seven years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on bridge design and construction.
3. Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale construction projects, from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
