We are seeking an Experienced Project Engineer/ Coordinator who has worked in the construction industry in the past Preferred Commercial Civil work.

Responsibilities

• have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Engineer/ Controller IN THE CONSTRUCTION field, preferably in the Civil/ Electrical field
• proficiency in using Procore software/ Microsoft Outlook/ Microsoft Excel
• must understand how to use a CPM schedule/ weekly/ biweekly schedule and be able to create/ continue ongoing schedules
• excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
• experience in preparing submittals and Requests for Information (RFI's)
• have a strong understanding of plan analysis, material counts, and document preparation.
• - Communicate and help Construction Managers with construction items, trade issues, and scheduling.
• - Process change orders, back charges, and review invoices when necessary.
• - At times, answering incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and on site, answering phones/ the front door.

Requirements

• Process, send, and schedule warranty work requests with trades to resolve customer complaints in a timely professional manner.
• Utilize Excel or Google Sheets to log and track customer service inquiries.
• Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or change orders.
• Bilingual in English/ Spanish is a huge plus
• Possibly travel throughout the valley to jobsites from the main office located at 1920 W. Cheryl Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85021.
• Basic computer skills in Windows, and fluent using the internet are required. Microsoft word and excel are a must
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision. The employee may be required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
