Project & Delivery Business Controller

At Yuma, we’re not just looking for a Project & Delivery Business Controller. We’re looking for someone who wants to build, challenge, and elevate how business controlling is done across our Belgian and Dutch entities.

You’ll play a key role in developing a state-of-the-art controlling function , working at the heart of a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance team.

What You’ll Do

As part of your role, you'll be responsible for :

• Playing a leading role in shaping and overseeing the processes and configuration related to our PSA/PM tool (Teamleader Orbit). As the primary point of contact for project managers, you challenge them to improve data accuracy and consistency.
• Preparing monthly financial and operational scorecards for each OpCo, along with crafting a clear narrative about the company’s operational performance for a wider audience.
• Monitoring and supporting projects profitability, billability, timely and correct time-sheeting being able to dive into granular details while also to create and apply efficient batch and sample controls on various data sources.
• Providing insights to the Finance leadership team regarding the drivers of value creation, assisting in making performance-enhancing business decisions for the OpCo’s.
• Playing a key role in the monthly reporting and annual audit process.
• In collaboration with our Senior Business Controllers, supporting the development of annual budgets and of quarterly adjustments through the group forecasting process.
• Anticipating, managing, and reporting to the group any events, situations, or circumstances that may materially impact group value or profitability.
• Contributing significantly to Yuma Finance projects across various domains (tooling, data, AI, etc.)
• Playing a leading role in defining and overseeing the internal procedures and documentation (way-we-work documentation).

Additionally

• You have 3 to 8 years of experience in delivery management, business controlling, or has worked as an external auditor or a financial controller.
• You have a significant impact on internal stakeholders at various levels and support business change from a financial standpoint.
• You balance a hands-on mentality with the capacity to elevate your view holistically.
• You are unafraid to challenge on critical issues and ensure that key matters remain on the radar.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economics.
• You are proficient in Excel, and familiarity with Teamleader Orbit and Power BI is a plus.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch ; French is a plus.
• You are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
