Job Description:
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, wash rooms, and removing trash. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Service, clean, or supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Keep work area clean and neat. Other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Apprenticeship program preferred. Less than 1 year previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend
