Layout/Ad Coordinator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Design and layout all publications, maintaining proper ad-to-editorial ratios and profitability benchmarks.
• Utilize ad layout software to create publication designs and generate reports for the advertising department.
• Receive and place agency and out-of-town advertising into the newspaper.
• Calculate advertising costs and process customer payments.
• Present clear, organized layouts to the graphics team for optimal ad placement.
• Maintain accurate files for insertions and correspondence with agencies/customers.
• Proofread advertising content and provide proofs to customers upon request.
• Assist with advertising reports and prepare media packets for potential advertisers or sales representatives.

Layout/Ad Coordinator Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with layout/design software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Typing at a minimum of 50 WPM
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
