The Goddard School has been helping children grow, learn, and thrive for over 35 years ! With more than 600 schools across the country , we’re all about making early childhood education fun, engaging, and meaningful. We serve kids from 6 weeks to 6 years old , and everything we do is backed by research and high standards of care. Plus, we’re proud to be accredited by Cognia and the Partnership for 21st Century Learning . At Goddard, kids aren’t the only ones learning and growing—you will too! Duties What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of experience is awesome (but we’re open to training the right person!)
- Completed state-required pre-service training (or ready to get it done!)
- Loves building strong connections with kids, families, and teammates
- Stays cool and professional, even when things get a little hectic
- Can lift up to 50l bs (because sometimes little ones need extra help or snuggles!)
- Infant & Toddler teachers: able to safely lift babies in and out of cribs
- Must meet background check requirements
- Personal qualities: Energetic, positive, reliable, hardworking, caring, dependable and punctual
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young children, teachers and parents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times;
- The ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist in toileting (where necessary)
- Full & Part Time available
- 6 months experience in childcare, teaching or other related fields (desired)
- Degree in Early Childhood Development (desired)
- Current TB within the last 6 months
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Fingerprint Clearance card
