Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
- Preparing tax extensions
- Year end tax projections
- Tax Research
- Generating trial balances and financial statements
- Responding to IRS and other taxing authority notices
- Proactively communicating with clients to obtain necessary information and provide tax and financial feedback
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in both general and accounting related computer software (experience with CCH Axcess, QuickBooks and Office 365 are a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments'
