Headfarmer is seeking an experienced AP Manager for our client in Phoenix. Will ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, and maintain strong vendor relationships. This role includes overseeing payment operations, enforcing compliance, mentoring staff, and driving process improvements and automation. Full time, Monday-Friday, hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP team operations and performance

• Review, process, and schedule vendor payments (ACH, checks, wires)

• Ensure invoice accuracy, proper GL coding, and policy compliance

• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment issues

• Prepare month-end accruals and reconcile AP ledgers

• Implement internal controls and identify efficiency improvements

• Maintain organized AP records for audits and compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a supervisory AP role; experience managing 3+ staff

• Experience with AP automation implementation preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office and Sage Intacct

• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and GAAP

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high-volume work

• Professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills
