This role is a regional General Manager responsible for developing and executing 1–2 year business and operational plans to grow Badger’s hydrovac services across a multi-state region. The GM oversees P&L, budgeting, finance controls, multi-unit and multi-state operations, talent recruitment/retention, and market development across industries such as underground utilities, construction, and trucking. Required are a bachelor’s degree (preferred), 10+ years industry-related experience, 5+ years P&L management, and multi-unit leadership; benefits include salary/bonus, company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

The General Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing Badger’s operational business in the assigned region. This position is accountable for developing and executing a one-year business plan with a view of safe operations, excellent customer service, employee retention, enhance financial performance and growth of the business.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develops and executes a 1-2-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan.
• Enhances area strategic positioning.
• Designs the development and subsequent implementation (after approval) of operational and business plan for the Region. This plan includes identification of key market areas, key industry segments, operating partner or corporate location requirements, operational and finance planning plus human resources.
• Grows Badger’s business in the Region at a robust pace ensuring the foundation is built for long term success. This requires identification of key market areas of solid sustainable business and then finding the right local manager to grow the business and manage the local trucks.
• Continues to expand the need for Badger’s Hydrovac services through education, awareness, and market development to provide sustained growth.
• Works with the U.S. Finance and Administration Manager to ensure financial planning, controls and information is adequate. Must prepare budget for region and follow it throughout the year.

What You'll Need for Success

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10+ years’ experience preferred in one or more of the following industries: Vacuum / Pump Trucks, Commercial Underground Construction, Trucking/Fleet Management, Sewer / Water Line, Underground Utilities, Waste, Equipment Rentals
• 5+ years full Profit and Loss management experience
• Multi-unit Management responsibility
• Multi-state responsibility
