SUMMARY

Responsible for facility and equipment maintenance. Assist in developing and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Key factors to success are the ability to assist in fostering a well-trained and motivated staff. Must be self-starting and self-directed in all aspects of the maintenance functions. Team player attributes while maintaining a professional demeanor are critical.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for installing and troubleshooting production machines with the explicit goal of driving OEE to be greater than 85%.
2. Initiates, coordinates, and enforces program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
3. Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
4. Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more skilled trades.
5. Follow and interpret blueprints & schematics.
6. Implement a standardized training program for new technicians.
7. Maintain open communication through proper follow up methods.
8. Research new trends and technologies.
9. Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
10. Perform skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
11. Maintain various records related to labor, materials, and work orders.
12. Complete PMs in a timely manner.
13. Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to train and provide direction to assigned personnel in the performance of a wide variety of duties related to ITC equipment.
2. Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks/projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. 5 years of experience as an industrial Mechanic.
4. Able to trouble shoot electrical systems from 24 volts A/C or D/C up to 460 VAC (3 phase, single phase).
5. High level experience in hydraulic and pneumatic Systems.
6. Able to work under minimal supervision.
7. Able to perform all levels of repair and preventive maintenance.
8. Expert in troubleshooting any mechanical repair or rebuild.
9. High level in electrical and electronic diagnostic as well a repair and rebuild.
10. Welding experience (MIG, TIG or stick).
11. Enhanced computer and mathematical skills.
12. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
13. Experience in programming one or more of the following PLC programs: Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, Bosch, and more.
14. Knowledge of at least three of the following tools: Lathe, Milling machine, Surface grinder, CNC machines.
15. Understand control wiring, and logic diagrams.
16. Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and stooping might be required.
17. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends as assigned.
18. Knowledge of Spanish a plus.

This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.

2nd shift: 3PM - 2AM Monday - Thursday with additional OT on Fri/Sat as needed.
