Process & Product Quality Associate

With over 17 years in business and as a part of the InteriorWorx family of companies, Krosswood Doors is helping families redefine how they design and build the space they call home. Our facility in Tucson is currently seeking a Process and Product Quality Inspector.

A Process and Product Quality Inspector ensures manufactured products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes, testing raw materials and finished goods, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. Key duties include conducting inspections, using measuring tools, documenting findings, collaborating with production teams on improvements, and maintaining quality control protocols for both the production flow and the final product.

• Inspect door assembly slabs and components and finished products to ensure they meet Krosswood Doors specifications.
• Use measurement tools such as rulers, tape measures and gauges to test products for functionality, performance, and adherence to dimensions.
• Recognize and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities in processes or products.
• Verify that all manufactured items comply with documented quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, process monitoring, and any issues found.
• Work with management and other associates to identify and implement corrective actions and resolve quality issues.
• Act as an advocate for quality, recommending improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
• Suggest improvements and updates the inspection protocols and ensure compliance with the quality management system.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of quality control standards, testing techniques, and the proper use of inspection tools.
• Meticulous observation to accurately identify even minor defects.
• Ability to clearly document findings and communicate with production teams.
• Aptitude for identifying root causes of quality issues and contributing to their resolution.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with certifications in quality control being preferred.
