Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an acute or sub-acute facility License: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States or its territories Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six months of hire Must-Have: Professional knowledge of nursing care procedures Ability to work independently in completing assignments Guidelines include physician's orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures Description: The Clinical Nurse performs various nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role involves providing support to individuals of all ages and their families. Nursing duties will adhere to established guidelines, which include physician orders and nursing policies. Effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team are essential for providing optimal patient care.
