Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, exposure to modern cloud-native technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile/Scrum teams while delivering end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Golang .

• Build and integrate backend services using Go, Java, JSON, Kafka, and NoSQL databases .

• Work with relational and legacy databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, and IMS .

• Develop and manage file-processing solutions using VSAM .

• Create and maintain API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI and YAML .

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes .

• Compile, run, and manage batch processes using JCL .

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Splunk, ELF, and Postman .

• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Own end-to-end deliverables, from requirements analysis through development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development , with strong proficiency in Golang .

• Solid experience with SQL and backend data stores ( DB2, IMS, PostgreSQL ).

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with Kafka , NoSQL databases , and API development.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

• Familiarity with JCL and mainframe or legacy system integration.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in hybrid enterprise environments combining modern and legacy systems.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.

• Prior client-facing or consulting experience.

• Hybrid work model with onsite presence at the Phoenix, AZ office as required.
