Interim Controller POST NUMBER: 302055
Vaco has partnered with a well-established construction organization undergoing accounting and operational modernization. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Interim Controller with strong construction accounting expertise, financial cleanup experience, and Vista ERP knowledge.
Job Title: Interim Controller
Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite)
Pay Rate: $65-70 per hour
Project Duration: 4-5 months (ideally contract-to-hire)
Start Date: Target 9/7
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and improve the monthly close process while ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Perform general ledger cleanup, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Review and correct fixed asset records and accounting transactions
- Manage construction accounting processes including job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Construction project accounting experience required
- Experience with Vista systerm strongly preferred
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative construction setting
