REPORTS TO : CEO, VP of Commercial Development
COMPANY : SW Sustainability Solutions Inc.
LOCATION : Four Corners Region (Arizona, New Mexico, or Utah)
TRAVEL : 50%+
POSITION SUMMARY
SW Sustainability Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong business development focus to drive net-new revenue across our industrial glove product lines. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded sales professional who thrives on closing new opportunities, developing strategic distributor relationships, and positioning innovative PPE products with industrial end-users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and deliver annual sales growth targets through proactive new business acquisition.
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on new end user conversion.
- Identify, qualify, and close high-value branded glove opportunities in the field.
- Work collaboratively with Inside Sales counterpart to target and engage large multi-location facilities for exponential growth opportunities within corporations.
- Research and Target untapped industries and market opportunities
- Determine new Distributors needed to ensure key industries are covered in region’s distributor coverage
- Ensure accurate information from closed business is included in CRM so that Inside Sales team can monitor and maintain new accounts.
- Work cross regional initiatives with Regional Sales Managers to collaborate and close National account opportunities.
- Maximize gross profit through strategic product mix, pricing discipline, and value-based selling.
- Lead contract negotiations , including pricing exception justifications aligned with margin targets.
- Manage sales pipeline and forecast with accuracy using Salesforce; maintain complete and timely records of activity and outcomes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers across distributor and end-user accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to launch and support new products.
- Contribute competitive intelligence and market feedback regularly to improve offerings and strategy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 2+ years in B2B field sales , ideally with industrial or safety products; experience selling through distribution required.
- Proven success in new business development and deal closing .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office suite.
- High degree of initiative, organization, and accountability.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Background in industrial health & safety , PPE, or MRO distribution.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and adjust strategy accordingly.

- Consistent achievement of sales targets with a strong mix of new customer acquisition and strategic account growth .
- Well-qualified pipeline that progresses predictably through stages with limited falloff.
- High-quality CRM data, regular field reporting, and active engagement with internal teams.
