Practice Lead Civil Engineer
Position OverviewThe Practice Lead will oversee the operational functions of multiple projects within the region, ensuring effective management of resources and processes to meet business objectives. This role focuses on optimizing operations, fostering client relationships, and driving business development in the civil engineering sector. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage operational activities across multiple projects in the region.
- Develop and implement business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and growth.
- Foster relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Mentor and guide project teams in best practices for land development and civil engineering processes.
- Ensure compliance with ADA regulations and other relevant standards in project designs.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outcomes.
- Prepare and present proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, billing, and resource allocation effectively.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in land development and civil engineering operations.
- Strong business development skills with a proven track record in the private sector.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D.
- Excellent client-facing skills and ability to handle proposals and presentations.
- Strong mentoring capabilities to guide junior engineers and teams.
- Prior experience with operational management.
