Legal Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to review court documents and legal records to determine case outcomes and support the processing of substantiated allegations.
This role requires strong reading comprehension, the ability to understand legal terminology and court documents, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable researching records, communicating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate documentation.

- Review court documents to determine whether allegations were adjudicated or dismissed prior to adjudication
- Analyze legal records and identify supporting documentation needed for case processing
- Communicate with field staff to obtain required documentation and information
- Apply established criteria and tier classifications to substantiated allegations
- Research and review historical case records to ensure accurate classification and processing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within applicable systems
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and organizational standards
Required Skills
- Understanding of legal terminology, court language, and petitions
- Strong reading comprehension xrczosw and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Ability to review and interpret legal documents accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with legal or case documentation
- Record management and file maintenance experience
- Prior experience in a legal, court, or administrative environment
