What You'll Do

As a TLA Pre-Litigation Paralegal , you’ll be the foundation of the case-building process. You’ll support attorneys in developing cases, keeping files meticulously organized, and ensuring each client feels heard and cared for. This role requires a mix of precision, compassion, and assertiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date case files. Draft demand letters, manage medical records, and assist in preparing settlement packages.

• Client Communication: Serve as a compassionate and proactive liaison to clients — keep them informed, gather key documents, and respond to questions with professionalism.

• Document Preparation: Draft correspondence, legal documents, and summaries. Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

• Deadline Tracking: Calendar and manage important dates such as treatment timelines, SOLs, and response deadlines.

• Attorney Support: Help attorneys prepare cases for litigation. Anticipate needs, manage schedules, and coordinate case strategy.

• Technology Use: Leverage case management tools like Filevine or similar platforms to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal certificate a plus

• Experience: 2–3 years in plaintiff personal injury (pre-litigation experience required; litigation experience helpful but not necessary)

• Skills:

  • Excellent organization and time management

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Knowledge of medical records and terminology

  • Proficient in legal software (preferably Filevine)

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desirable

  • Driven, dependable, and solution-oriented

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000/year (DOE)
