Mountain Park Health Center is looking for Registered Dietitians (RD) to join our well established and accredited team of providers. As a large Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Arizona, we are dedicated, to sustain and improve health by providing excellent, patient-centered primary care. As a Registered Dietitian (RD), you will ensure that patients' needs are met by providing appropriate, evidence-based, medical nutrition therapy. This role provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and high-priority nutrition counseling services to our patients according to federal guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Obtain dietary histories of patients, evaluate their nutritional needs, and provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy collaboratively.
- Create and deliver nutrition education programs for patients.
- Participate and complete clinical quality reviews as needed.
- Help patients understand the relationship between nutrition, food choices and their health condition and assist patients in making appropriate changes to their diet.
- Complete clinical notes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Valid driver’s license
- Current CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
