Make a meaningful difference in the lives of middle school students as a full-time Special Education Teacher in a vibrant educational environment near Mesa, AZ. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
- Experience working with middle school students, preferably in a special education setting
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and ability to adapt instructional strategies
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom for all learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
- Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate closely with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methods based on assessments and data
- Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that empowers students to achieve their best
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
