Description:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new partnerships with colleges, universities, and trade schools. Your primary goal will be to promote our lending solutions as a strategic financing option for institutions and their students. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.

Pay: Starting at $120k-$150k

This is a Full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule that includes some business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential partner institutions across the U.S., including colleges, universities, and trade schools.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in financial aid, admissions, and executive leadership.
• Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed growth targets.
• Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our lending solutions.
• Contract Negotiation: Manage the full sales cycle including proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting education financing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for partner institutions

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in education, finance, or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and student financing models.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with prospective partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with financial aid departments or education administrators.
• Familiarity with third-party lending platforms or student loan products.
• CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
