Position Summary

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking four experienced Journeyman Industrial Electricians to join a long-term infrastructure refurbishment project at a wastewater treatment facility in Phoenix, AZ . This is an immediate opportunity for skilled electricians who have a background in industrial environments and are familiar with the specific demands of water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, repair, and refurbishment tasks on industrial wastewater treatment systems

• Pull wire, install conduit (EMT/Rigid), terminate panels, and work with control systems

• Assist with motor control centers (MCC), VFDs, and electrical distribution systems

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and schematics

• Maintain compliance with all NEC codes and site-specific safety regulations

• Support troubleshooting and commissioning activities as required

• Work closely with supervisors and site management to ensure project milestones are met

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License (strongly preferred, but not required for all candidates)

• Previous experience on water/wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WTF) projects

• Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical experience

• Strong conduit bending and wire pulling skills

• Familiarity with PLCs, MCCs, and VFDs a plus

• Must have own basic hand tools and PPE

• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and site onboarding

• Reliable transportation and availability for a full 6-month project
