About the role

We are immediately hiring Secret-cleared unarmed security guards to protect a U.S. Government administrative facility at the Tucson Border Patrol Headquarters compound. Guards provide 24/7 coverage during non-working hours - evenings, weekends, and federal holidays - conducting perimeter patrols, maintaining activity logs, and responding to security incidents. This is a static post with a furnished patrol vehicle provided at the site entrance.

Compensation & benefits

• $25.00 per hour
• Health & welfare allowance provided in accordance with applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements

Shift hours

Weekdays (Mon–Fri)

5:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Weekends & federal holidays

24 hours / day

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence at the facility entrance during assigned shifts
• Conduct regular perimeter patrols at unscheduled intervals and document all activity in daily logs
• Deter and report unauthorized access; coordinate with CBP guard force and emergency services as needed
• Submit written incident reports to the COR within 2 hours of any security event
• Protect all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with EO 13556 and 32 CFR Part 2002

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance - must be verified prior to assignment
• Valid Arizona Guard Card (AZDPS Security Guard registration) - required before standing post
• S. citizen, age 21 or older
• High school diploma or GED; fluent English (read, write, speak)
• Must pass CBP background investigation and comply with NCIC-III, TSDB, AFI 31-101, and AFI 10-245
