Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-to-Hire, Fully Remote, CST hours)

Vaco has partnered with a growing SaaS company that is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will support strategic financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong SaaS or software industry experience and is highly skilled in building financial models from scratch.

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Fully Remote (must work CST hours)
Pay Rate: $55-$65 per hour
Engagement Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models from the ground up to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights.
• Support month-end and quarter-end analysis, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Assist with long-range planning, scenario modeling, and KPI development.
• Improve financial processes and reporting to support scalability in a growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst within a technology, SaaS, or software company.
• Advanced Excel skills, with demonstrated experience building models from scratch.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments preferred.
