Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment strongly preferred
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and school teams
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-based documentation
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to student well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of student needs related to motor skills, self-care, and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP goals and strategies
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to promote student success and independence
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing observations and recommendations
• Educate stakeholders on enhancing students’ functional abilities within the school setting
• Adjust therapy approaches in response to student progress and team input
