Machinist Apprentice at Gear & Spline Manufacturing Facility (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281

Shift: Full time, day shift. Monday - Thursday (40 hours)

Pay: $17-20 per hour

REQUIRED: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Apprentice Operator must have a desire to learn a technical trade involving the manufacture of high precision gears and splines used in today’s demanding aerospace industry.

You will learn blue-print reading, inspection processes, setup and manufacturing methods using some of the newest technology available today in a stable, fast paced, AS9100D Certified business.

Requirements:

• Strong desire to develop a career in high precision gear and spline manufacturing
• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
• Basic Math
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to stand majority of the shift
• Good attitude and must work well with others as a team to perform daily goals
• Punctual Attendance with reliable transportation
• Micrometers and dial-indicators are a plus but not necessary for training
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
