**Hiring: Avionics Technicians for Satellite Systems** **Contract Compensation: $27/hour + $192/day per diem x7 ($1344/weekly per diem)** **Must be open on shift and overtime requirement** **Location: Midland, TX** **Job Description** Join a dynamic production team focused on assembling parts for satellite systems. This role involves manual labor in a production line, ensuring the accurate assembly of satellite sub-assembly parts using various hand tools and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Work collaboratively as part of a production team to assemble parts. + Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. + Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts. + Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment. + Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. + Pack, seal, and move boxes efficiently. + Pick up, move, and sort small parts. + Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. + Perform other related duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, wiring, avionics, bench work, electronics, and electrical tasks. + High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + Associates degree or certificate in a technical area. + Assembly or manufacturing experience. + Experience in the space or aeronautical field. **Why Work Here?** Experience a supportive team environment where innovation and precision meet.
