LIHTC Community Manager
Location: Arizona
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced LIHTC Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing apartment community in Arizona.
Requirements
- Prior LIHTC/Tax Credit experience required
- Previous multifamily property management experience
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance and regulations
- Experience with resident relations and property operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, compliance requirements, and multiple priorities
- Proficiency with property management software preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community
- Manage LIHTC compliance , certifications, recertifications, and resident files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing requirements
- Conduct resident income certifications and annual recertifications
- Monitor occupancy, collections, delinquency, and leasing activity
- Lead and support leasing and maintenance team members
- Handle resident concerns and maintain strong resident relations
- Review and approve applications and move-in documentation
- Conduct property inspections and ensure curb appeal and community standards
- Coordinate maintenance, vendors, and property projects
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate property records
- Work with ownership and management to meet occupancy and financial goals
Ideal Candidate: An experienced affordable housing professional who understands LIHTC compliance, is highly organized, and can effectively lead a multifamily community while providing excellent resident service.
