We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our clients team. This position plays a critical role in fabricating, welding, and assembling steel structures while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Location: El Mirage, AZ!

Schedule : Monday - Thursday / OT as needed - 1st and 2nd shift available!

Pay rate: $21.35 - $22.05

Duties:

1. Safely operate overhead crane systems to handle steel beams, plates, and assemblies using chains, grabs, and rigging equipment.

2. Read and interpret blueprint drawings to determine weld specifications, dimensions, and thickness.

3. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including connecting cables from power source to welder, striking arcs, and guiding electrodes for precise welds.

4. Perform structural welding on a variety of steel components to required specifications.

5. Use needle guns and other tools to clean welds and remove slag.

6. Load weld wire spools and maintain welding equipment as needed.

7. Ensure all work meets company and industry quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Ability to lift, move, and rig steel components weighing 10–50 lbs. using grabs and chains.

2. Adequate strength, mobility, dexterity, vision, and hearing to safely operate welding equipment and overhead cranes.

3. Ability to wear required PPE, including a respirator.

4. Stamina to perform repetitive welding, cutting, and cleaning tasks.
