ER Registered Nurse Job Details

• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Facility: Community hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (8/31/2025 – 11/30/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Unit Size: 24 beds
• Electronic Health Record: MedHost EDIS
• Scrub Color: Black

ER Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Associate's degree in Nursing (AA) or higher
• Proven experience with trauma and STEMI cases
• Ability to float to other healthcare units within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive clinical skills

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Respond rapidly to trauma and STEMI cases in a fast-paced ER environment
• Operate advanced clinical equipment: ultrasound, Bellmont Transfuser, Baxter IV Pumps, Glidescope, GE monitors
• Document patient care accurately using MedHost EDIS
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized emergency department
• Float to other hospital units within a 25-mile radius as required
