Senior M365 Engineer / Administrator

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Sr. M365 Engineer or Administrator to provide expertise in managing and supporting our client’s Microsoft 365 environments, with a focus on SharePoint and OneDrive. This role requires strong technical knowledge of M365 services, governance, and administration to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable collaboration across the enterprise.

• Experience: 6-9 Years
• Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services with emphasis on SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Manage security, compliance, and data governance using Microsoft Purview and related tools.
• Implement and maintain SharePoint Advanced Management features to optimize performance and user experience.
• Provide technical leadership in M365 governance, permissions management, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and deliver secure collaboration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the M365 environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience as an M365 Engineer/Administrator, with a focus on:
• Microsoft SharePoint Online
• Microsoft OneDrive
• Microsoft Purview
• SharePoint Advanced Management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing or managing AvePoint Governance for M365 environments
• Prior experience developing and implementing enterprise governance policies and best practices for M365.
• Experience with implementing best practices aligned to change management processes.
